ms. lewis asked: I’ve searched and searched, but I keep getting vintage books on mid-century modern home plans. I’m looking to build a home and I need a home plan that is more recent than that to give to the contractors. As long as the plan loox mid-century modern; tons of windows in the front and lots of open space inside. Any help would be appreciated.

Jenny M asked: Just looking for some general tips on living greener, things such as solar panels, etc, that won’t cost a lot to implement? Of course, solar panels cost a fortune, but it’s an example. Thanks!

hiya asked: I was told that it is okay to use “house wife” in my CV but feel that it is a bit dated. Also, Stay at home mom sounds like a person that stays home and doesn’t work. I am sure moms and dads that stay at home with their children will tell you that they work! I think the job title shouldn’t convey wife, husband, mom or dad in it. I would love to hear some fun and creative ideas. Any suggestions???

AddieMom13 asked: What website would you recommend to a family getting more involved with green living? We already do basic things, like recycle, reuse, turn off lights when we don’t need them, keep the heat low, don’t run the water, etc..but it never occurred to me to wash clothes in cold water only. Where can I find more great ideas like that? Thanks!

I can’t seem to find good one like these. Even if they are customized, surely there should be some lay outs or floor plans.

Katz asked: I have maroon/hunter green drapes now, etc., and I’m sick of the color already. The walls are plain white and hubby doesn’t want anything permanent put up in case we decide to sell. What other colors can I use as far as paint, decor, etc. to down play all the green? My living room suit is a large sectional in a beige/black tweed. Any ideas?
